Seven process steps of stainless steel flange derusting

Stainless steel flange has a certain anti rust characteristics, but in some special cases, stainless steel flange will rust, the following small series to share the seven steps of stainless steel flange rust.

1. Before derusting, remove all kinds of visible dirt on the surface first, and then remove the oil with solvent or cleaning agent.

2. Use tungsten steel blade to remove large area of rust.

3. Use scraper and wire brush to remove the rust at the edges and corners.

4. Remove welding slag and other protrusions and various burrs with a file.

5. Clean with emery cloth and wire brush.

6. Clean with a clean rag, or use a rag dipped with solvent, and paint the primer in time.

7. It should be noted that the tenacious coating which has not yet failed can be retained, and the surface of the old paint should be roughened with emery cloth, the defect of the coating should be polished into an axe shape, and the coating should be painted directly after cleaning.
