Some requirements of stainless steel flange from production to delivery

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel decreases with the increase of carbon content. Therefore, the carbon content of most stainless steels is low, up to 1.2%, and the WC (carbon content) of some steels is even lower than 0.03% (such as 00Cr12). The main alloying element in stainless steel is Cr (chromium). Only when the content of Cr reaches a certain value, can the steel have corrosion resistance. Therefore, the Cr (CR) content of stainless steel is at least 10.5%. The stainless steel also contains Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, Cu and other elements. The flange pipe fittings made of stainless steel are called stainless steel flange. Below we say the stainless steel flange production to the factory should have the requirements.

1. Feeding, quality control according to specifications and user requirements;

2. Physical and chemical, material control;

3. Cutting, size control, identification and transfer control;

4. Hot forging line, thermometer size control;

5. Heat treatment and temperature control;

6. Inspection, hardness and metallographic control;

7. Metal processing, size control;

8. Finished product inspection, sampling inspection control according to the standard;

9. Identification, control according to standard requirements;

10. Packaging and delivery, control according to user requirements and specifications.
